Last night a 98 year old senior neighbour of mine waited over two hours for an ambulance after taking a fall and hurting her neck and back. She ended up laying half in and out of her closet until Vernon Fire & Rescue could arrive to help move her. She’s currently in hospital undergoing assessment.
Our seniors and residents deserve better than this. By this incident I say we aren’t being serviced adequately and we need to look at changes.
Perhaps this move was premature by BC Ambulance Service.
