8.b Respectful Workplace and Anti-Discrimination Policy and Resource/Developmental Considerations (2510-09)
THAT Council receive the memorandum titled “Respectful Workplace and Anti-Discrimination Policy and Resource/Developmental Considerations,” dated February 7, 2023, respectfully submitted by the Director, Human Resources;
AND FURTHER, that Council accept and approve the Respectful Workplace and Anti-Discrimination Policy for implementation, as presented;
AND FURTHER, that Council authorize $56,000 to place a 0.5 FTE in Human Resources, source of the funding for 2022 from year end unexpended, uncommitted funds, and ongoing in 2024 from taxation; AND FURTHER, that Administration does not support moving forward with an application to join the Canadian Commission for UNESCO’s Coalition Against Racism.
